The Axsak Guitar Jacket was founded and invented in 1986 by Pete "Pedro"
Wyant a noted L.A. session guitarist, and a very popular instructor at the
prestigious Guitar Institute of Technology in Hollywood, Ca. After receiving
a teaching position at a guitar school in Mexico City, Mexico in 1998, Pedro
decided that he had to devote all his energies to his new teaching gig.
So he sold the company to Darin Scott, who had been a endorser and representative
for Axsak since 1988.
Through the years Axsak has enjoyed quite a lot of commercial and critical
success, with sales all over the world, and with an endorsement list that
reads like the who's who of the music industry.
Axsak has also been featured on the cover of CDs, cassettes, instructional
guitar video tapes, guitar instructional books, television shows, major
concert halls all over the world, and various music publications like Guitar
Player, Guitar World, Guitar School, Guitar For The Practicing Musician,
Tune Up Guitar Magazine, Rolling Stone, Musicians Institute News, Buddy
Guys Legends Magazine and many others. In fact Axsak was once featured on
the cover of Guitar Player magazine with Jennifer Batten.
With all the success Axsak has achieved the company isn't content to
just rest on its past glory as Axsak moves into the new millennium with
a roar, featuring the new Steve Hunter "Deacon" model and the
official Axsak website.
